Critical illness

Major Disease rider

Providing vital financial support should you suffer from critical illness
The customer is given total peace of mind as treatment with the paid benefit of this supplementary product (rider).
Protect you from the common major diseases
This rider will provide you financial security against the 9 most major diseases.
Should the customer unfortunately suffers from one of disease listed in the major disease of this rider as the policy is over
90-day exclusion period and still alive after survival period (30 days), he/she will receive 100% of the Sum Assured of this rider.
The 9 major diseases list

Life threatening cancer
Stroke
Heart attack
End-stage kidney failure
Major organ transplant
Fulminant viral hepatitis
Coma
Heart valve surgery
Non-accident brain surgery

Critical illness rider

Critical illness supplementary product (rider) will provide customers with financial support if the Life Assured (LA) is unfortunately diagnosed with one of the diseases in the critical illness list of this product such as: Stroke, Heart-attack, Cancer, Kidney failure, etc. There are a total of 25 and 29 Critical illnesses respectively for male and female LA (*).

In the event that a critical illness is diagnosed: (after 90-day exclusion period)
Prudential shall pay the Sum Assured (SA) of the "Critical illness rider" to cover the treatment's expenses while the basic product and other supplementary products (if any), will be still in force.
Upon the death of the Life Assured due to any reasons: (and if there is no prior claim for Critical illness rider)
Prudential shall pay the SA of the Critical illness rider apart from the benefit of the basic product and any other supplementary products.

(*)	The critical illness list is stipulated in Terms and Conditions of this supplementary product.

Accelerated critical illness rider

Accelerated critical illness supplementary product (rider) will provide customers with financial support to treat 25 and 29 critical illnesses (*) respectively for male and female Life Assured (including common critical illnesses such as Cancer, Heart-attack, Stroke, Kidney failure, etc. Together with the medical advances, the Accelerated critical illness rider will finance you to bring opportunity of recovery or to prolong your life.

If the customers suffer from one of the diseases in the critical illness list after the 90-day exclusion period, they will be paid in advance a portion (with the rate chosen by customers) of main product's benefit. This payment is a necessary financial resource to help customer to cover treatment's expenses (**).
After the rider's benefit is paid, its Sum Assured and premium rate having to pay to main product will be declined by a proportion accordingly and the main product is still in force.

(*)The critical illness list is stipulated in Terms and Conditions of this rider.

(**) In all cases, the paid amount will not exceed death benefit of the purchased main product.

Accident

Accidental death rider

If the Life Assured dies within 180 days since the accident since the accident happened as policy is in force, apart from the benefit of main product, the customer will be paid at a lump sum of Sum Assured (SA) as detailed in Life Insurance Certificate of this supplementary product (rider).

Accidental death and dismemberment rider

Accidental death and dismemberment (ADD) will bring the customers broader coverage and higher benefit to protect against risks caused by accident.

The case that Life Assured is disabled due to accident
In case the Life Assured (LA) is disabled due to an accident, the policyholder will be paid a percentage of the Sum Assured (SA) equivalent to a dismemberment ratio. The maximum compensation is up to 100% of SA for this rider.
If LA is disabled due to an accident, Prudential shall pay as the following chart:

The case that Life Assured is third degree burns to 20% of the body surface area due to an accident
The customer will be paid 100% of the SA for this supplementary product in case the LA is third degree burns to 20% of body surface area due to an accident (*)

The case that Life Assured dies due to an accident
In case the LA dies for accident while the policy is still in force. The beneficiary will receive full SA of this rider, within 180 days from the date of accident. (*)

	This SA will be doubled if the LA dies for accident while traveling by public transportation such as a bus or a train.
	This SA will be tripled if the LA dies due to accident while traveling as a passenger on a plane.

(*) In case the benefit of dismemberment for accident is paid previously, the paid amount will be the balance remaining on this supplementary product.

Hospital care

Hospital care rider

Hospitalization expenses support
Our comprehensive package provides support for hospital treatment to overcome diseases with 3 basic benefits:

	Daily hospitalization benefit: will finance the daily hospitalization expenses equal to Sum Assured (SA) and with a maximum of 100 days accumulated to every policy year.
	Intensive care unit benefit: apart from the benefit as mentioned above, the customers will be supported 100% of SA per day in the intensive treatment and max financed day is 30 days accumulated to every policy year.
	Surgical benefit: the customers will be received 5 times of SA for each surgery case.

Simple and suitable payment method
The customer will be paid the benefit based on the actual hospitalization days but the length of stay must not exceed the total days for individual disease as stipulated in the Terms and Conditions of this supplementary product.

Comprehensive health care

This product will give you and your family a peace of mind with the medical expenses during hospitalization, as well as before and after hospitalization. If the treatment is medically necessary and the costs are justified as reasonable, Prudential will pay 80% of billable cost depending on the plan chosen by the customer when purchasing the policy as follow:

For Day surgey, the surgery that do not require the patient to stay in the hospital, Prudential shall reimburse more 80% of total costs including drugs charge, equipment supplied, Laboratory testing, Imaging diagnosis and Specialist consultation.

Note

	The above benefits are paid only if they meet the requirements and definitions of the Terms and Conditions of this rider.
	Emergency overseas medical treatment benefit will not be paid if the Life Assured (LA) is abroad from 90 consecutive days or more.
	When the costs related to inpatient hospital treatment or surgery of LA has been paid by Health insurance, Prudential will pay 100% of remaining costs but not exceed maximum of the selected plan.
	Same admission means all Hospitalizations which arise from the same Illness or Injury as that of the previous Hospitalization (including all complications therefrom) and which is within 60 days following the latest discharge date should be considered as the same admission. Same admission is applied to calculate the maximum benefit payable per admission.
	Economy, Standard, Superior and Deluxe plan is Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, and Plan D respectively, as specified in the Terms and Conditions of this rider.

PruKids

PruKids is an outstanding solution providing protection benefit for children against the risk of critical illness or accident.

Prudential will pay 120% of the Sum Assured (SA) to cover treatment expenses for common critical illness in children (the illness as detailed in list below), if the Life Assured (LA) is still alive at least 30 days since the date of critical illness diagnosis result.

The standard benefit:
If the Life assured is diagnosed as suffering from any one of the Children's illnesses below:

	Cancer
	Type I Diabetes
	Heart Surgery
	Brain Surgery
	Major Organ Transplant

- Prudential will pay 20% of the SA as soon as there is positive diagnosis of a critical illness.
- Prudential will pay 100% of SA if the LA is still alive at least 30 days after the date of critical illness diagnosis result.

Optional benefit 1:
Accidental benefit. Please refer to the below payment chart according to ratio:

Optional benefit 2:
The return of premium benefit at maturity.
Upon the expiry date of the Rider, Prudential will refund 100% of total premium paid for this supplementary product, without interest.

Financial Support

Premium waiver rider

If the policyholder (parents or legalized guardian) unfortunately dies or becomes Total and Permanent Dismemberment, the main product of Life Assured (kid) and other riders (if any) are still in force without further premium payment treatment expense.

Juvenile dependent support rider

If the policyholder (parents or legalized guardians) unfortunately dies or suffers from Total and Permanent Dismemberment, the customer will be received 100% of the Sum Assured (SA) of this supplementary product (rider) on every anniversary date since the accident event happened until this rider expires.

Spouse dependent support rider

	If the Life Assured (LA) of this supplementary product (rider) dies or totally and permanently disables, customers will receive 100% of Sum Assured (SA) of this rider on every anniversary date since the accident event happens until the rider expires.
	This rider is always attached to Spouse waiver supplementary product.

Spouse waiver rider

	If the Life Assured (LA) of this supplementary product (rider) unfortunately dies or totally and permanently disables, the main product of LA and other riders (if any) are still in force without premium payment.
	The customer will receive full benefit of the policy he/she purchased.

Critical illness waiver rider

If the Life Assured (LA) unfortunately suffers one of the diseases in the critical illness list of this product during in-force period of this rider, the policyholder will be exempted the rest of premium for the purchased main product and other supplementary products (riders) (if any) from the date of diagnosis result of critical illness to the expiry date of this rider, provided that the policyholder fully submits all required documents according to Terms and Conditions of this rider.

Major Disease Waiver rider

The main product and other supplementary products (riders) (if any) will be waived premium till the expiry of this rider if the Life Assured (LA) unfortunately suffers from one of the diseases in the critical illness list of this rider and is still alive at least 30 days since there is the critical illness diagnosis result.

Death and total permanent dismemberment (or Level term)

The case the Life Assured dies
If the Life Assured dies while policy is in force and there is no prior compensation for total and permanent dismemberment (TPD), the customers will be paid Sum Assured (SA) noted in Life Insurance Certificate.
The case the Life Assured totally and permanently disables
If the Life Assured totally and permanently disables while policy is in force, Prudential will pay Sum Assured (SA) noted in Life Insurance Certificate for 10 annual installments since the TPD happens. Each installment is one tenth of total amount Prudential will pay.
The unpaid installments (till the policy expires or the LA dies) will be paid one time.
