What is the difference that CitiMobile offers to an iPhone and other handsets?
If you have iPhone with active GPRS/Wifi, you can download our free CitiMobile App which is available on App Store now. From our CitiMobile App, you can do your daily banking transaction, use our ATM branch locator function, check special offers from Citi World Privileges and Promotions then choose Setting to see the relevant information for your requested country.

What is GPRS?
GPRS stands for General Packet Radio Service. It offers high-speed data services on GSM networks. GPRS lets you browse Internet, access E-mail and connect to various other data services on your mobile phone.
How do I get GPRS?
You can contact your telecom service provider and request for registration and activation of GPRS for your mobile number.
Do I have GPRS activated on my phone?
If you can visit web sites and download applications on your phone then you have GPRS activated on your phone. If you do not have GPRS activated on your phone then contact your service provider to activate GPRS on your phone
What if I cannot connect to the URL?
Please check your GPRS connection or contact your telecom service provider for the same. In case you still face difficulty in connecting to the downloaded URL, kindly delete the message and request again for CitiMobile.

How do I start using CitiMobile
iPhone
To start using CitiMobile from your iPhone simply visit the Apple App Store and search for "Citibank VN". Select install to access this free app. Once you have installed this app, enter your Online Banking User ID and Password to sign on. Are there any charges for using CitiMobile?
CitiMobile is available to you FREE of cost. However, please bear in mind that standard GPRS download/access rates will be applicable as per your telecom service provider for using CitiMobile
Some transactions performed via CitiMobile may incur a charge. Please refer to Citibank's Fees and Charges Schedule to confirm transaction charges.
How do I sign on every time after I have registered?
Once you have registered for Citibank Online you are ready to use CitiMobile. All you need is your unique User ID, Password and the answer to your Security Question. You will then be able to view account information, pay bills and transfer funds from your mobile phone.
Can I use CitiMobile anywhere in the world?
You can access CitiMobile from anywhere in the world on a mobile handset that can access the internet. For security reasons, we strongly recommend you avoid using public or shared handsets when banking.
Can I make payments to new payees?
You cannot register new payees on your CitiMobile. However once you register your new payees on Citibank Online, you are all set to make payments to them through CitiMobile.
The Payee I want to transfer to is not available?
Before making a transfer or payment on CitiMobile you will need to setup any Payee (including Billers) within the Manage Payee section of Citibank Online. Once a payee has been activated it will be available for you to select within CitiMobile.
What if I make a transaction mistake?
Please contact CitiPhone Banking on (84 8) 3521 1111 or (84) 1900 1819 to confirm your instructions immediately. We remind our customers to ensure that transfers are accurate prior to submitting.
Can I access CitiMobile when I am abroad?
Yes, as long as you have GPRS/WIFI activated on your mobile number, subject to availability of the network, you can access CitiMobile anywhere in the country. Please keep in mind that you might be charged special roaming rates for using GPRS./p>
I am not able to see certain products. Why?
The products that you are looking for may not be linked to the account you have logged in from. Please link your accounts to the Banking/Credit Card account to access them on CitiMobile.
What if I get an SMS or a call while on CitiMobile?
On most handsets, you can answer the call or read the SMS while CitiMobile continues to run in the background. After you have finished your call, you can resume banking on CitiMobile. For certain handsets however, you may need to re-open the application/browser and login again.
What if I change my mobile number?
You can still access your account using CitiMobile on your phone. However, in case, you re-download CitiMobile on a new phone device, you will need to register your new mobile number with Citibank to be able to register this application. In case you are using the direct link, http://m.citibank.co.in/mlogin to access CitiMobile, there is no change required.

| 1. Definitions: |
|
| "Cellular Service Provider(s)" shall mean any person/organization permitted by Vietnam Government or any competent authority to provide mobile/cellular services that support voice and data traffic. |
|
| "Citibank Account" shall mean any Credit Card account at locations approved by Citibank. |
|
| "CitiMobile Facility" or "Facility" shall mean the facility which allows the Customers to carry out transactions on the Customer's Mobile Phone using the software application provided by Citibank and a GPRS Internet connection. |
|
| "Client Application" shall be the software provided by and modified from time to time by Citibank using which, the Customer will be able to access account related information through a GPRS Internet connection. |
|
| "Customer" means a person who is a Citibank Account holder and who has accepted these Terms and Conditions. |
|
| "Intermediaries" shall mean various cellular service providers or other organizations or entities nominated by such cellular service providers which shall provide, to the Customer, the GPRS services which are necessary for provision of the Facility. |
|
| "Mobile Phone(s)" shall mean a wireless enabled mobile phone(s) or any type of mobile phone(s) owned/in the control of the Customer which supports voice and data exchange offered by any Cellular Service Provider. |
|
| "Mobile Phone Number" means a distinctive Mobile Phone number last updated on the records of Citibank by the Customer on Citibank Online, through the call centre or in writing either through any form provided by Citibank or otherwise for the purpose of availing the Facility. |
|
| "Mobile Payments" means financial transactions done through the use of Mobile Phones based on the information exchanged between Citibank and its Customer. A Mobile Payment involves Debit/Credit to the Customer's Account on the basis of instructions received through a Mobile Phone. |
|
| "Specific Terms and Conditions" means the Specific Terms and Conditions, as may be either contained in the Citibank Account Terms and Conditions to be communicated to the Customer from time to time, applicable to the CitiMobile Facility. |
|
| "Terms and Conditions" means these Terms and Conditions including any amendments and any and all annexure, schedules, exhibits, appendices attached to it or incorporated by reference from time to time. These Terms and Conditions are supplemented by and are in addition to the Specific Terms and Conditions that shall be communicated to the Customer prior to availing the Facility. In case there is a conflict or repugnancy between these Terms and Conditions and any Specific Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions would prevail for all intents and purposes. |
|
| Terms used hereunder but not defined herein shall have the meaning assigned to them under the Citibank Account Terms and Conditions and/or Internet Banking Terms and Conditions and/or the Specific Terms and Conditions. |
|
| In these Terms and Conditions all reference to Customer in masculine gender shall be deemed to include the feminine gender. |
|
| 2. Availability and Usage |
|
| The Facility shall be available only to those Customers who fulfill the following eligibility criteria: |
|
- The Customer should be a sole account holder or a joint account holder with an 'Either or Survivor' entitlement to be able to use the entire suite of CitiMobile functionality and successfully complete a transaction end-to-end. For other joint accounts (i.e. accounts not having an 'Either or Survivor' entitlement), only transaction requests can be placed by the Customer using the Facility but the other joint account holders will have to login to Citibank Online with his IPIN (Internet PIN) to authorize and complete the transaction request.
- The Customer should have a valid IPIN and should have updated his current Mobile Phone Number in Citibank's records.
- The Customer should have a JAVA enabled Mobile Phone and should have subscribed for a GPRS Internet connection to the Cellular Service Provider on the Mobile Phone to be able to access the Internet and use the Client Application under this Facility.
The Facility shall be made available to the Customer only at his request.
This Facility shall be made available only to the Customers satisfying the eligibility criteria and shall be provided at the sole discretion of Citibank and may be discontinued by Citibank at any time, with prior notice to the customer.
The Customer would be required to download the Client Application on his Mobile Phone for using and accessing this Facility. The Customer shall then be able to access the Citibank Account using the Facility, only after due authentication of the Customer is done by means of verification of the Debit/Credit Card number and IPIN allotted by Citibank to the Customer or through any other mode of verification as may be stipulated by Citibank at its sole discretion. The Customer acknowledges that Citibank shall authenticate the identity of the Customer only through the Debit/Credit Card number and IPIN allotted by Citibank to the Customer
The Customer shall be able to carry out transactions including but not limited to fund transfer from one account of the Customer to another or to a third party account maintained with Citibank and/or any other bank (which allows this facility), payment of Credit Card dues, obtaining information on Citibank Account balance and Citibank Account transactions summary.

| 3. General |
|
| The Customer understands and acknowledges that this Facility is an extension of accessing the internet banking facility on Citibank Online and that all users of this Facility shall be bound by the same Terms and Conditions that govern Internet Banking, IPIN and Mobile Phone Banking Facilities. |
|
- Citibank shall use its best endeavors to carry-out transaction instructions received by it from the Customer within such time as may be specified by Citibank, however, Citibank does not guarantee that the fulfillment of transaction instructions or availability of the Facility within such specified time frames since provision of the Facility depends on various electronic medium and technology used from time to time and may pass through Intermediaries, that may cause delays and snags in receipt/transmission of any transaction instructions received by/from Citibank from/by the Customer. All transaction requests on CitiMobile are instantaneous in nature and effected immediately. Hence these requests may be irrevocable and Citibank will be unable to undo or reverse any such transaction request after it has been issued. Accordingly, Citibank shall not be liable for any loss, damage whether direct or indirect, costs, charges or expenses incurred by the Customer due to a delay/inability in carrying out or reversing the transactions and/or providing this Facility.
The Customer understands that he can carry out payments using the Client Application only to the linked accounts or the accounts pre-registered on his payee list on Citibank Online. The Customer also understands and acknowledges that to make payments to any new account, the Customer shall have to first register the payee on Citibank Online and then effect the transaction using the Client Application.
- Citibank shall not charge any fee for downloading and using the Client Application, however, the Customer shall be liable to pay the applicable data download charges and any other charges as decided by the Cellular Service Providers.
The Customer irrevocably and unconditionally authorizes Citibank to access all his Citibank Accounts for effecting banking or other transactions of the Customer through the Facility.
Citibank shall have the discretion not to give effect to any transaction instructions given by the Customer by using the Facility in the event Citibank has reason to believe that the transaction instructions are not genuine or otherwise improper or unclear or raise a doubt or in case any transaction instructions cannot be put into effect for any reason whatsoever. The Customer accepts and acknowledges that the decision of Citibank in this regard shall be final and binding on the Customer.
Where Citibank considers the instructions to be inconsistent or contradictory, Citibank may seek clarification from the Customer before acting on any instruction of the Customer or Citibank may act upon any such instruction in a manner as it may deem fit. Citibank shall have the right to suspend the services under the Facility if Citibank has reason to believe that the Customer's instructions may lead to direct or indirect loss or may require an indemnity from the Customer before continuing to operate the Facility.
Citibank reserves the right to limit, the amount and frequency of carrying out the transactions that a Customer may carry out by using the Facility, with prior intimation to the Customer. Citibank further reserves the right to alter/amend/modify the limits as imposed with prior intimation to the Customer.
The Customer understands that the role of Citibank is limited to verification of the Citibank Account number, IPIN, validity of the Citibank Account/Card, checking the availability of sufficient funds in the Citibank Account of the Customer and processing the transaction instructions for transfer of payments to the Customer's Account and/or to the account of any of the Customer's registered payee.
Citibank shall be entitled to rely upon all electronic communications, transactions or instructions to Citibank from the Customer in the manner prescribed by Citibank for the same from time to time and that Citibank shall not be obliged to verify or make further inquiry into the identity of the sender, or the message integrity, of any communications, instructions or transactions. The Customer shall in no circumstance dispute such reliance by Citibank.
The Customer shall be responsible for the Mobile Phone and any usage of the same, whether by a third party or any other person and that the same shall be deemed to be a usage by the Customer. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer to inform Citibank about any change with regard to the Mobile Phone Number and that Citibank shall not be, in any way, liable or responsible for any loss, damages, costs, charges or expenses suffered/incurred by the Customer by reason of his failure to do so. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer to inform Citibank to disable the IPIN if the confidentiality of the IPIN has been compromised and the Customer shall also be solely responsible for any transactions/information, etc., which may be carried out/exchanged using the IPIN and Mobile Phone till such time as Citibank is notified by the Customer. All records of Citibank generated by the transactions arising out of use of the Facility, including the time of the transaction recorded, shall be conclusive proof of the genuineness and accuracy of the transactions. The authority to record the transaction details is hereby expressly granted by the Customer to Citibank.
Citibank shall not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage sustained by the Customer by any direct or indirect use of or reliance on the electronic communication, instructions or transactions whether with or without the utilization of any security measures, including but not limited to any loss or damage resulting as a consequence of any defects, delays, interruptions, errors, inaccuracies or failures in the various communications and that Citibank specifically excludes the same to the fullest extent permitted by law even if Citibank shall have been advised in advance of the possibility of such damages.
Citibank reserves the right, but shall not be obliged, to make changes, enhancements, and/or modifications to the Facility offered by Citibank from time to time.
Citibank reserves the right to, from time to time at its sole discretion, but with prior intimation to the Customer, charge fees for the provision of any and/or all of the Facility.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the Specific Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions applicable to other services offered by Citibank.

| 4. Indemnity |
|
| In consideration of Citibank agreeing to provide the Facility to the Customer, the Customer hereby irrevocably agrees, to indemnify and keep Citibank indemnified, at all times hereafter, from all losses, damages, costs, legal fees, charges and expenses and consequences whatsoever, suffered or incurred by Citibank on account of any claims, actions, suits or otherwise instituted by the Customer, or any third party whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Facility and any and all transactions initiated by the use of the Facility, whether with or without the knowledge of the Customer, or whether the same have been initiated bona fide or otherwise which transactions, the Customer hereby acknowledges, Citibank has processed on the transaction instructions and authority of the Customer in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and other applicable Specific Terms and Conditions, as the case may be. The Customer further agrees and confirms that this indemnity shall remain valid and subsisting and binding upon the Customer notwithstanding partial withdrawal of the Facility |

| 5. Confidentiality and Disclosure |
|
| To the extent not prohibited by applicable law, the Citibank shall be entitled to transfer any information relating to the Customer and/or any other information given by the Customer for utilization of the Facility to and between it's branches, subsidiaries, representative offices, affiliates, representatives, auditors and third parties selected by Citibank, wherever situated, for confidential use in and in connection with the Facility. Further, Citibank shall be entitled at any time to disclose any and all information concerning the Customer within the knowledge and possession of Citibank to any other bank/association/financial institution or any other body. This clause will survive the termination of this agreement. |
|
| 6. Termination |
|
| The Customer acknowledges and understands that if the IPIN remains unused for a period of six (6) months from the date it is issued by Citibank to the Customer, then the IPIN shall become invalid and the Customer shall not be able to avail the Facility, until the Customer applies for a new IPIN. The closure of the Accounts of the Customer shall automatically terminate the Facility. Citibank may suspend or terminate Facility without prior notice to the Customer, if the Customer commits a breach of any of these Terms and Conditions and/or the Specific Terms and Conditions or any specific regulations laid out by RBI from time to time with regard to Mobile banking or Citibank receives information of the death, bankruptcy or lack of legal capacity of the Customer. |
|
| Except as otherwise provided by the applicable law or regulation, Citibank reserves the right to terminate the Facility and/or expand, reduce or suspend the transactions allowed using this Facility, change the process and transaction limits associated with this Facility based on security issues, at any time, without any prior notice to the Customer. |
|
| Citibank also reserve the right at any time with notice, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these Terms and Conditions. |
|
| 7. Disclaimers: |
|
| Citibank shall not be liable for: |
|
- Any unauthorized use of the Customer's IPIN, or Mobile Phone or for any fraudulent, duplicate or erroneous transaction instructions given by use of the Customer's TPIN, IPIN or Mobile Phone;
- Acting in good faith on any transaction instructions received by Citibank;
- Error, default, delay or inability of Citibank to act on all or any of the instructions;
- Loss of any transaction instructions/messages in transmission;
- Unauthorized access by any other person to any transaction instructions given by the Customer or breach of confidentiality;
Citibank does not recommend, endorse or make any representation or warranty of any kind regarding the quality of the service provided by the Cellular Service Provider(s) and/or performance or operation of the Client Application and/or Mobile Phone used for the Facility. The Customer shall be solely responsible for the selection of the Mobile Phone/Cellular Service Provider(s) and for all issues/disputes between the Customer and the Cellular Service Provider(s) and/or the manufacturer of the mobile Phone.

| 8. Governing law and jurisdiction |
|
| The construction, validity and performance of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Vietnam. |
|
| 9. Grievance Redressal |
|
| The Customer is advised to check the CitiMobile section at www.citibank.com.vn for details on how to address a grievance to the bank related to the facility. |
