PROTECT YOURSELF FROM ONLINE SCAMS
Currently, Phishing/Smishing/Vishing scams are the fraudulent practice of sending emails or SMS claiming to be from reputable companies (including Citibank, tax authorities…) to trick customers to log in malicious links and provide OTP to steal personal information & bank accounts.
TIPS TO PROTECT YOURSELF
- • Do not share confidential details like Card number, Card expiry date, CVV, OTP, Internet Password (IPIN) with anyone. Citibank will never ask for such details.
- • Never access net banking or make payments using your Credit/ Debit Card from unknown links. Citibank only has 01 official website www.citibank.com.vn and 01 Citi Vietnam Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CitiVietnam/
- • Stay on top of your account activities by enabling a Push Notification on Citi Mobile® App for transaction alerts. Inform the Bank immediately if you observe any abnormal activities in your account.
- • Only use Citi Mobile App or Citibank Online® to update personal information, transaction management, balance check, payments and other services.
- • In case you suspect fraudulent transactions, or you lose your credit card, you can quickly and easily lock your card on the Citi Mobile App, or call Citibank Hotline for prompt actions.
